Professor Said Ismailov was born on 14th December 1948 in Tashkent, Uzbekistan.. He served as the chief endocrinologist of Uzbekistan for several years and was instrumental in the development of the endocrine department at the Republican Clinical Hospital in Tashkent. Professor Ismailov was also a prolific researcher and author, with numerous publications to his name. His contributions to medical science have been recognized nationally and internationally.

Professor Saidiganikhodja Ismailov was an illustrious figure in the medical community, particularly renowned for his groundbreaking contributions to endocrinology and surgery in Uzbekistan and the broader Central Asian region.

His establishment of the Laboratory of Endocrine Surgery in 1986 marked a significant advancement in the field, leading to pioneering research in the transplantation of cryo-conserved endocrine organs and the synthesis of thyroid hormones under extremely low temperatures.

As an active member and leader in several prestigious medical associations, Professor Ismailov's influence and contributions extended globally, solidifying his legacy as a visionary and a mentor in the medical field.

Professor Ismailov supervised the preparation of 25 PhD candidates and 8 doctors of science, including an international research candidate from Sudan. He published over 600 articles, including in foreign journals, patented 10 inventions, provided 82 methodological recommendations, and authored 40 monographs, one of which was published in English in Singapore.
